Elderflower and lime mojito - Mocktail

Who needs swanky bars when you can bring the taste of luxury to your own back garden? Get some friends round and have a bit of fun making these Elderflower and lime mojito - Mocktails

A shaker or stirring glass

A muddler

A glass of your choice


A lime

Lime cordial

6-8 mint leaves

35ml sugar syrup

50ml elderflower cordial

Soda water

Cubed ice

  1. Squeeze ½ a lime into the glass (or use the equivalent of high quality fresh lime juice)
  2. Press the mint leaves to release the flavour and put them into the glass.
  3. Muddle and bruise the mint into the lime using the muddler.
  4. Add one scoop of ice, the sugar syrup, elderflower cordial, and a splash of lime cordial. Use a spoon to bring the ingredients to the top of the glass.
  5. Add another scoop of ice and top up with soda water and a lime segment.
  6. Taste test. If it's too sour add more sugar, and if it's too sweet add more lime.
