  • For 20 Portions
  • Tip: Biscotti keep well, so can be made well in advance.
  • 100g plain flour
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • rind of half a lemon
  • 120g blanched whole almonds
  • 1 large egg, beaten

  3. Place on a baking tin with parchment paper and bake for 20-30 minutes until lightly brown. Remove and leave to cool for 10 minutes to let it set.
  4. Next, slice the three biscotti into thin slices on the diagonal and lay flat on the baking tray and return to the oven to dry out for 10 minutes.
  5. Cool and store in an airtight container.
